Rosemary Pawlowski is a founding member and Executive Director Emerita of BOTTLE WORKS Ethnic Arts Center in Johnstown PA, which preserves and celebrates the cultural diversity of the peoples of that region through their arts, including music, dance, costuming, foodways and literary traditions. Programming includes celebrations of the many heritages and traditions in the region and includes exhibits, films, cooking classes, workshops, lectures, performances and more. A public arts project that clothed the building with a mosaic of tulips continues with the development of a garden. Pawlowski is also a founding member of ART WORKS in Johnstown!, a facility contiguous with BOTTLE WORKS, that was launched as an economic development initiative, all adding to the dynamic synergy of an emerging cultural district in the historic neighborhood of Cambria City.
