Supporters: Institutional Donors

Karl Middleman and Teresa Cheung at the Humanities on the Road taping of Dvorak's New World at The Mishler Theatre in Altoona. Major supporters of the 2011 event include Benzel's Bretzel Bakery, Inc., McLanahan Corporation and Altoona Regional Health System.
In 2010 and 2011, PHC continued to do what it does best: expand minds and connect people through thought-provoking dialogue. All over the Commonwealth, people consider the questions that matter to them. How can literature, history and storytelling make new things familiar and familiar things new again? What is the best way to appreciate a culture different from your own? What can a fresh look at the past teach us about the present? And, when the world weighs upon us, who knows of a great book to escape into? Generous support from donors makes it possible for us to explore these topics. We express our deep appreciation to the following for their support in 2010 and 2011, especially the National Endowment for the Humanities including funds from the We the People initiative.
